Medx Health acquires Canadian operations of Reimers & Janssen GmbH

MedX Health Corp., a global leader in drug free, non-invasive low level laser and light therapy for tissue repair and pain relief, today announced it has acquired the Canadian operations of 27 year old laser pioneer, Reimers & Janssen GmbH (herein after "RJ-Laser"), providing an expanded line of products, with improved product features, within MedX's existing rehab/chiropractic, dental, and acupuncture laser and light markets, as well as approved products ready for launch to Veterinarians and Dermatologists.

It is announced today that CNS Network has purchased ALPHADAS®, Logos Technologies Inc’s early phase, e-source data capture system and site automation tools to accelerate and streamline its clinical trials. ALPHADAS is to be implemented in their Orange County Research Center, California, USA.

Roche Diagnostics purchases NimbleGen microarray workflow assets from BioMicro Systems

Roche Diagnostics has purchased assets from BioMicro Systems for all products associated with the Roche NimbleGen microarray workflow. These assets consist of key instrumentation in the comprehensive Roche NimbleGen microarray workflow including the NimbleGen Hybridization Systems (both 4- and 12-bay models).

Merz Pharma Group to acquire BioForm Medical

Merz Pharma Group announced today that the subsequent offering period of the tender offer by Merz GmbH & Co. KGaA (“Merz”) and its acquisition subsidiary to purchase all of the outstanding shares of common stock of BioForm Medical, Inc. at a price of $5.45 per share, net to the seller in cash (without interest thereon and less any required withholding tax) expired as scheduled at 12:00 midnight, Eastern Standard Time, on February 18, 2010.

Bio-Rad Laboratories acquires Biotest AG's diagnostics businesses

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., a multinational manufacturer and distributor of life science research and clinical diagnostics products, announced today that it has completed the purchase of certain diagnostics businesses of Biotest AG, including its diagnostics products in the areas of blood transfusion testing, transplantation, and infectious diseases for 45 million euros.
