Joe Korner, Director of Communications at The Stroke Association said: "Across London the stroke care you get depends on where you live. We have some of the best stroke care in the world, but there are some areas of the capital where we need to see urgent improvements so that all Londoners can get the best possible stroke treatment. We believe that developing at least eight specialist stroke centres is the best way to do this.
